Summer Joy Yoga Week 4

Join us for Sumer Joy Yoga, Saturdays in August!

Led by Luke Simon, give love to your body and breath with this accessible one hour yoga class in the Broken Wing Barn. We start with a grounding meditation and gentle warm up, then sun salutations to build heat, then explore classic poses. Anatomical alignment cues will be given to create safe shapes and build physical presence. This is simple yoga to create somatic body awareness and get you present to the beauty of our beautiful ecosystem in full summer aliveness. We end with a period of letting it all go in Savasana. Luke will guide you with humor and gentleness. You will leave feeling clarified, stronger and ready for the day ahead.

Yoga mats are not provided, please bring your own mat or towel.

Luke Simon has been teaching since 2010. He is trained in Sivananda Hatha and Laughing Lotus Vinyasa and is now a student of Iyengar Yoga. He shares his dedication to the benefits of Yoga with joy and creativity. His current practice focuses on alignment to foster awareness, sequencing poses that are related, ending with breath awareness and rest to reset the nervous system. Luke’s classes are maintenance and care for your beautiful body, mind and heart, as well as community gatherings to laugh and connect.
