Our mission is:

to cultivate connections through sustainable organic farming, experiential education, and innovative research.

White Feather Farm (WFF) is a 66-acre organic farm and educational center in New York's Hudson Valley dedicated to cultivating connections through sustainable agriculture, experiential education, and innovative research. We aim to foster a resilient local food system that benefits both people and the environment, utilizing our 66-acre learning landscape to promote food literacy, health, wellness, the arts, and environmental stewardship.

Our Vision:

We aim to be a regional leader and resource for integrating farming, sustainability, wellness, and the arts.

Our Focus Areas:

● Sustainable Agriculture & Ecological Stewardship

● Research & Innovation

● Experiential Education & Inclusivity

● Community Connection & Wellbeing

● Arts & Culture

we seek to create meaningful connections - between people and the land, between community members, and between traditional and contemporary knowledge. We create these connections through three core pathways:

  1. Our certified organic farm serves as a living laboratory where people directly connect with the earth through hands-on farming experiences. Visitors don't just learn about sustainable agriculture - they participate in it through immersive programs that engage all the senses and create lasting memories.

  2. Our community spaces and natural wooded areas facilitate human connections through shared experiences. Seasonal workshops, cultural celebrations, and wellness programs bring diverse groups together around common interests. The landscape becomes a gathering place where relationships naturally develop through collaborative learning and working alongside others.

  3. Our research partnerships connect traditional ecological wisdom with contemporary scientific understanding. By bridging these knowledge systems through partnerships with universities and research institutions, we advance regenerative agricultural practices while honoring indigenous land stewardship practices.

This interconnected approach allows us to cultivate the deep relationships needed to address complex challenges like climate change, food security and social isolation. Rather than treating these as separate issues, we recognize that solutions emerge from bringing people together in ways that strengthen both human communities and our connection to the natural world. The result is a hub of connection and collaboration that nurtures individual, community and environmental wellbeing.
