Is a bright and loud cock-a-doodle-doo your idea of the perfect morning wake-up call? This workshop is for you! Join our very own, Celia Brubaker for a tour of White Feather Farm’s chicken coops. She will give you a tour of our operation that includes our feeding routine, coop care, and general chicken knowledge. This Easter weekend, come make friends with our chickens, know them by name and breed, and learn tips about keeping your own backyard chicken coop. Young children will be invited to a natural egg-dyeing activity while the adults gather information for their future home coop!

Celia loves the natural world around her and explores with abandon. As far back as she can recall she was growing vegetables in her grandmother’s garden in Lancaster and flowers in her mothers backyard in Philly. At WFF Celia oversees our feathered friends, helps manage the farm and contributes to design work. She is passionate about sharing the beauty of nature through art and her murals, which often include chickens. Celia lives in Mt. Tremper and thoroughly enjoys her home in the Hudson Valley.
